Jacob Burke New GM

The LOOK Company is pleased to announce that Mr. Jacob Burke has been promoted to the role of General Manager, The Middle East and Africa. Jacob’s appointment is effective immediately. Jacob will continue to be based in The Look Company’s, Doha, Qatar Head Office.

As General Manager, Jacob's responsibilities will include overseeing all day-to-day operations of The LOOK Company head office in Qatar, including its staff. In addition, Jacob will lead and manage all support of customer and partner relations in The Middle East and Africa.

As a key member of the management team of The LOOK Company since 2005, Jacob has gained a thorough knowledge of print and fabric technology, installation operations and implementation, as well as a strong project management and administration background. Gerry Price, President and COO of The Look Group says, “Jacob is one of the best Look specialist we have Internationally, and is as comfortable equally in the field as he is with clients in the board room. He is well respected by his peers in the Industry for his expertise in managing Olympic standard look programmes and know he will be a great asset to our Doha management team."

Jacob has also worked closely with The LOOK Company’s sport and event clients in such projects as; Qatar Stars League, 2012 Men’s Exxon Mobil and 2012 Qatar Total Open Ladies- Tennis Tournament, Arab Games 2011, 2011 World Nine Ball Championships, Qatar 2016 Olympic Bid, 2010 Muscat Asian Beach Games, The XXI Winter Olympics – Vancouver Canada, along with many other projects.

The Management would also like to offer their deepest appreciation to Mrs. Amy Burke-Johnson for her past management of both the company and the company’s key clients. Amy will be taking maternity leave effective March, 2012 and therefore we wish Amy the best of health and happiness through this time.
