Today marks a proud and exciting day in the growth of The Look Company and also the rising importance of football for the country of Qatar as we look towards the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
At a ceremony earlier this morning, The Look Company formed an agreement with Qatar Football Association at an official signing ceremony in the Qatar Olympic Committee building offices. Jacob Burke, General Manager, TLC and Mr. Saoud Al Mohannadi , General Secretary, QFA officially passed the documents. Detailed in the agreement is an exclusive partnership for TLC to undertake all branding and signage & wayfinding for each and every Qatar Football Association event going forward.
With the initial partnership spanning two years until March 2014, both parties are keen to implement the extension clause of the agreement which will extend the partnership for a further three years beyond this.
Qatar Football Association currently manages all Qatar national team football matches for both the Senior Mens and Under 21’s Mens teams in addition to all qualification matches for Olympics, World Cup and Asian Football Cup championships. Running parallel to this, all international friendly matches that are played out on Qatar’s soil are also managed by QFA.
Jacob Burke, General Manager, The Look Company says: “As a company that has been in-country since 2005 helping to develop sports event branding, we at The Look Company are very proud to continue to support the growth of football in Qatar. Through this exclusive partnership with QFA, spanning at least the next two years, we look forward to assisting QFA in continuing to raise the bar in the branding of their events. We foresee this as yet another positive stepping stone for sport in Qatar as we move towards the World Cup in 2022.”
